Extension is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a Direct Hire opportunity with one of our clients located in Milwaukee, WI.

Key Objectives / Role Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
• Assist with equipment installations, modifications, and infrastructure improvements.
• Maintain compressed air systems, high-pressure steam boilers, and other utilities.
• Respond to maintenance work orders, emergencies, and unscheduled repairs.
• Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and equipment history.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure minimal downtime and safe operations.

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 8+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Strong troubleshooting ability and capability to work independently.
• Physical ability to lift 75 lbs, climb ladders, kneel, crouch, and work in active environments.

:

• Knowledge of 110V, 240V, and 480V electrical systems.
• Experience in plumbing, HVAC, and/or carpentry.
• Familiarity with CMMS systems and forklift repair.
• Background in welding, pneumatics, fabrication, boiler maintenance, and gears/pumps repair.

Salary Information

• $32–$40/hour (based on experience)
