We're currently recruiting for a Maintenance Support professional to join a well-established care home in Reading. This flexible role allows you to choose any two days per week, working 8:00am to 4:00pm, making it ideal for someone seeking a better work-life balance while utilising their maintenance skills.

Key Responsibilities:\n

• Carry out general maintenance and repair work across the home

\n

• Complete routine building, equipment, and safety checks

\n

• Support the upkeep of grounds and external areas

\n

• Assist with health & safety and compliance requirements

\n

• Maintain records of inspections, checks, and repairs

\n

• Liaise with contractors where required

\n

• Undertake occasional courier or collection duties

\n

• Ensure the home remains safe, well-maintained, and welcoming for and staff

\n

Requirements:\n

• Valid Enhanced Adult DBS is essential

\n

• Previous maintenance, handyman, caretaker, or facilities experience

\n

• Good practical and problem-solving skills

\n

• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively

\n

• Reliable and professional approach

\n

• Full UK driving licence desirable

\n
