Job Position: Maintenance Support Coordinator

Location: Norcross, GA 30071

Job Type: Direct Hire

Pay Rate: $25/hr.

Shift: 1st shift - 6am-2pm

Schedule: Must maintain open availability and be able to work overtime/weekends, as needed. Off-days will rotate from week-to-week

Overview
We are seeking a Maintenance Support Coordinator to help keep our client’s maintenance operations running smoothly. This role supports the Maintenance team by coordinating work orders, scheduling preventive maintenance, managing parts and supplies, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and update daily/weekly maintenance schedules.

• Review and prioritize work requests with production needs in mind.

• Coordinate with operations, sanitation, and production teams to minimize downtime.

• Track, document, and close work orders with detailed notes.

• Maintain accurate equipment history and preventive maintenance records.

• Monitor parts inventory, order supplies, and coordinate with vendors.

• Provide weekly maintenance updates and support continuous improvement efforts.

• Ensure preventive maintenance tasks are completed on time and with proper materials.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly .

• 2+ years of maintenance coordination, planning, or administrative support (manufacturing or food industry ).

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with maintenance software .

• Knowledge of food safety/regulatory requirements (SQF, GMP, OSHA) a plus.

Working Conditions

• Manufacturing environment with varying temperatures (coolers, ovens, production floor).

• Mix of desk work and time on the floor; occasional lifting up to 40 lbs.
