As Maintenance Supervisor, you'll play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day physical operations and upkeep of our residential communities. Reporting directly to the Property Manager, you'll ensure that both curb appeal and satisfaction remain at the highest standard. From supervising building repairs to managing unit turns and preventative maintenance, your work will directly impact our ' comfort and our properties' long-term value.
You will lead by example-coordinating with vendors, scheduling technicians, organizing tools and inventory, and supporting leasing teams with exterior appeal. Whether you're responding to urgent service requests, managing seasonal upkeep, or maintaining common areas, you'll be essential to ensuring our communities operate safely, smoothly, and attractively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee maintenance operations for multiple apartment communities
- Execute and track work orders with precision and efficiency
- Manage unit turnovers, aiming for a 7-day turn schedule
- Conduct regular inspections of building systems, grounds, and amenities
- Lead safety compliance and proactive maintenance initiatives
- Organize and maintain shop, parts inventory, and vendor relationships
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in property maintenance or construction (multifamily experience )
- Strong knowledge of general building systems, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and grounds care
- Ability to lead and inspire maintenance technicians and coordinate with on-site staff
