Job Summary:

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily maintenance activities to ensure equipment, machinery, and facilities are operating efficiently and safely. This role involves supervising maintenance staff, scheduling preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and lead maintenance technicians and other staff in performing repairs, installations, and preventive maintenance.
Plan, assign, and monitor daily maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules.
Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify potential problems and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and equipment logs.
Coordinate with production, engineering, and safety departments to resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
Order and manage spare parts, tools, and maintenance supplies.
Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Train and mentor maintenance staff on procedures, troubleshooting, and safety practices.
Ensure adherence to all safety, environmental, and company policies and procedures.
Assist with budgeting, cost control, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance .
3–5 years of maintenance experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or facilities environment.
1–2 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Proficiency in using maintenance management software (CMMS).
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
Commitment to safety and preventive maintenance principles.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or on-call shifts when necessary.

Work Environment:

Industrial, manufacturing, or facility setting with exposure to machinery, noise, and occasional hazards.
Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
