Key Responsibilities
Maintenance & Equipment Reliability
- Supervise daily maintenance operations for production equipment and facility systems
- Assign and prioritize preventive and corrective maintenance tasks

- Properly document and maintain documentation to support internal and external audits
- Oversee troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Perform minor repairs on HVAC equipment
- Monitor equipment performance and minimize production downtime
- Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed and documented
- Support installation, relocation, and commissioning of new equipment including safety evaluation and release
- Ability to read and understand equipment manuals and/or schematics
Facilities & Infrastructure Oversight
- Oversee maintenance of HVAC, compressed air, electrical, hydraulic, plumbing, and building systems
- Coordinate external contractors and service providers
- Ensure facility upkeep supports operational efficiency and safety standards
- Manage maintenance-related capital improvement projects
Janitorial & Workplace Cleanliness
- Supervise janitorial staff to maintain clean and organized production and office areas
- Ensure compliance with cleanliness standards required for aerospace manufacturing
- Monitor proper disposal of waste and hazardous materials, including record retention
- Promote housekeeping standards consistent with safety and quality requirements
Leadership & Staff Development
- Lead, coach, and develop Maintenance Mechanics and janitorial staff
- Participate in performance evaluations and provide training as needed
- Ensure appropriate staffing and skill coverage across shifts
- Promote teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement
Safety & Regulatory Compliance
- Enforce OSHA safety standards and company safety policies, including but not limited to proper guarding and electrical safety
- Ensure proper lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures are followed
- Conduct safety inspections and address hazards promptly
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions
- Support compliance with AS9100 and environmental regulations
Continuous Improvement & Reporting
- Track KPIs including equipment downtime and response associated with maintenance request tickets
- Identify opportunities to improve maintenance processes and reduce downtime
- Support implementation of maintenance tracking systems
Provide regular performance reports for Operations leadership
Educational Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Technical or vocational training in industrial maintenance, electrical, or mechanical systems
- Associate degree in Maintenance Technology, Engineering, or related field
Required Experience
- 5+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance
- 3+ years of supervisory or team lead experience
- Experience maintaining CNC or automated production equipment
- Experience in aerospace or regulated manufacturing environments
Skills & Competencies
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs
- Understanding of OSHA safety regulations and LOTO procedures
- Organizational and project management skills
- Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
Qualifications
- Experience in AS9100-certified aerospace manufacturing environments
- PLC troubleshooting experience
- Lean Manufacturing training
- Forklift or equipment certification
Working Conditions
- Manufacturing floor and facility environment
- Exposure to machinery, industrial equipment, oils, and cleaning chemicals
- Frequent extended hours for emergency repairs or facility issues
- Interaction with production, engineering, and operations teams
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move tools or equipment (up to 50 lbs)
- Ability to work in confined spaces or elevated areas
- Ability to visually inspect equipment and gauges
- Manual dexterity for use of tools and equipment
Compliance & Other Requirements
- Adherence to AS9100 quality management system procedures
- Compliance with OSHA safety regulations and company safety policies
- Compliance with ITAR and export control regulations
- Ability to maintain accurate maintenance records and audit-ready documentation
- U.S. Person status may be required due to ITAR regulations
Compensation:
$35/hr
