About the Role:
The Maintenance Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation and upkeep of all facility equipment and infrastructure within the organization. This position is responsible for overseeing the maintenance team, coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance activities, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The Maintenance Supervisor will develop maintenance schedules, manage resources effectively, and troubleshoot complex mechanical or electrical issues to minimize downtime. Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in maintenance or related field .
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance roles.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards relevant to maintenance operations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree or higher in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related discipline.
- Certification in maintenance management or relevant technical certifications (e.g., OSHA, HVAC, electrical).
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing diverse teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to reduce equipment failures and extend asset life.
