Job Type : Full TimeLocation : Louisville, KentuckyPay : Competitive Pay & Benefits!Job Description What you will be doing:
- Responsible for all aspects of facility and maintenance equipment.
- Competent in scheduled maintenance and repair of apartment appliances, HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and special equipment.
- Conduct maintenance training for others assigned to the property.
- Perform on-site basic repairs including HVAC systems, appliances, water heaters, facility electrical systems, plumbing systems, and any special equipment.
- Be available for emergency maintenance calls 24 hours a day when scheduled.
- Perform minor carpentry duties.
- Perform Preventive Maintenance including winterizing facilities, periodic inspections of HVAC systems, winterizing swimming pool equipment, cleaning the swimming pool, maintaining chemical balance, and ensuring lights/HVAC are turned off in vacant units daily.
- Train other maintenance personnel in troubleshooting and repairs, and inspect their quality of work.
- Conduct joint interviews of maintenance applicants with the Community Manager.
- Perform administrative duties including recording maintenance requests, using proper forms, and maintaining inventory of parts.
- Move heavy equipment safely using proper equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience you will need:
- Five (5) to ten (10) years of maintenance experience required.
- College degree .
- Must be HVAC and EPA certified.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Previous multifamily experience required.
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification .
