Job Description

Aegis is partnered with a well-established, family-owned manufacturing company in the Bedford Park area that is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor to lead day-to-day plant maintenance across multiple production facilities. This is a highly autonomous, hands-on leadership role where you’ll have real influence over preventive maintenance programs, equipment reliability, and team performance.

This position blends floor leadership and technical troubleshooting, with responsibility for keeping production and facility systems running safely and efficiently. The environment is clean, stable, and growing, with leadership support and minimal red tape around process improvements.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and assign work to 4–5 maintenance technicians
• Spend significant time hands-on with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
• Drive preventive maintenance and CMMS programs
• Support equipment installs, upgrades, and CapEx projects
• Manage vendors and outside service providers
• Maintain facility systems and safety programs (including LOTO)
• Improve maintenance planning, scheduling, and parts tracking

Ideal Candidate

• 3–5+ years of industrial maintenance experience
• 2+ years of maintenance leadership or supervisory experience
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting background
• Electrical troubleshooting experience up to 480V with basic PLC exposure
• Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, pumps, and motors
• CMMS experience and solid computer/Excel skills
• Hands-on leader who plans ahead and communicates clearly with the team

Nice to Have

• Experience managing maintenance across multiple facilities
• MaintainX or similar CMMS platform experience
• CapEx planning exposure
• Bilingual English/Spanish
• Experience with cutting, welding, coating, packaging, or automated equipment
