Job Summary:
- A growing food manufacturing operation is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead daily maintenance activities and help foster a positive, safety-focused team environment. This role oversees the performance and reliability of plant equipment, facilities, and systems to ensure consistent production and minimal downtime. The position plays a key role in driving preventive maintenance strategies, coordinating repairs, and supporting operational efficiency across multiple shifts.
Job Duties:
- Supervise and support a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with operational priorities.
- Plan, assign, and prioritize maintenance tasks based on equipment criticality and production needs.
- Develop and maintain preventive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability and reduce unplanned downtime.
- Schedule and track routine inspections, servicing, lubrication, cleaning, and calibration activities.
- Respond to urgent repair needs, coordinating resources to minimize disruption to production.
- Ensure all maintenance work complies with company standards, regulatory requirements, and workplace safety guidelines.
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, parts usage, and system performance.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or related field .
- 3–5 years of leadership or supervisory experience within a manufacturing or industrial maintenance environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills.
- Solid understanding of preventive maintenance practices, safety standards, and equipment reliability.
- Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, SAP, or CMMS platforms .
