We are seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead frontline manufacturing teams in a high-volume, fast-paced production environment. This role is ideal for a driven professional who thrives on solving problems, developing people, and optimizing plant operations through data, safety, and process discipline.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing or production facility.
  • Proven mechanical and/or electrical aptitude in an industrial equipment or processing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, continuous improvement, and equipment reliability.
  • Comfortable working 12-hour swing/rotating shifts, including weekends. 6am-6pm for 4 days, then off for 4 days. Then 6pm-6am for 4 days, then off for 4 days.
  • Ability to operate in variable temperature environments (hot and cold).
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and develop others.
  • Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable driving change management initiatives and leading by example.
  • Experience in a union environment .


Essential Duties:

  • Promote a safety-first culture through active coaching, engagement, and hazard mitigation strategies.
  • Provide leadership, training, and daily support to production team members to foster professional growth and teamwork.
  • Drive equipment uptime through hands-on support of troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and coordination with maintenance teams.
  • Own and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational targets for quality, delivery, and cost are met.
  • Lead and sustain continuous improvement initiatives using tools like Lean, 5S, and root cause analysis.
  • Collaborate across departments to enhance plant operations, reduce downtime, and improve production efficiency.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, adaptability, and high performance.
  • Support standard operating procedures, audits, and process optimization efforts.
  • Perform other related duties and cross-functional support as assigned.
