Join a company where maintenance goes beyond repair—it's a commitment to operational excellence and safety. We’re hiring a Maintenance Supervisor to help lead our plant maintenance team in 2nd shift, drive equipment reliability, and grow into a future leadership role.

What you will be doing:

  • Responsible for ensuring the Maintenance Team consistently follows all company policies and procedures.
  • Directly responsible for the engagement, training, and development of the entire maintenance team
  • Thorough knowledge of all production and processing systems, including USDA operation procedures
  • Responsible for providing emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performing scheduled maintenance repairs during machine service.
  • Responsible for the development, implementation, and day to day supervision of maintenance systems, processes and documentation associated with efficient and High Performing Manufacturing Organizations (Prevention and Predictive Maintenance, TPM, SOP’s, Safety, etc.).
  • Flexibility to work non-standard hours as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Perform troubleshooting and repairs on a variety of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic production machines.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform any/all required maintenance and service.
  • Diagnose problems, replace/repair parts, and test/adjust different types of plant equipment.
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
  • Responsible for ensuring all PMs are completed in a timely manner but no later than their assigned due date.
  • Evaluates all Emergency work identified to ensure an emergency response is necessary, or, directs the creation of a work order that can be planned and scheduled in the future.
  • Ability to use various hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment to diagnose equipment issues.
  • Provides long term solutions and day-to-day support to all operating teams having issues with troubleshooting, problem analysis, equipment failures, etc.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.

What you will bring to the team:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering but not required.

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of maintenance supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the food industry. Experience with:

    • PLCs and automated systems
    • Preventative maintenance programs
    • High-speed packaging machinery
    • Downtime analysis and performance optimization
  • Technical Expertise:
    • In-depth knowledge of food manufacturing equipment, processes, and regulatory standards
    • Skilled in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical failures
    • Root cause analysis and prompt issue resolution
  • Mechanical & Electrical Proficiency:
    • Able to read and interpret mechanical drawings, including hydraulic and pneumatic schematics
    • Proficient in electrical schematics and troubleshooting systems up to 480V, 3-phase
    • Hands-on experience with mechanical systems such as gearboxes, chains, sprockets, motors, seals, bearings, and sanitary pumps
  • Leadership & Communication:
    • Proven leadership in driving safety initiatives and maintaining compliance standards
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience in delivering training and technical presentations
    • Spanish fluency, especially for team communication and training

Monday to Friday 2:00PM to 10:00PM. Weekends: Rotational (every 2 or 3 weeks) as needed.
