Maintenance Supervisor

Job Description

A growing manufacturer is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in the greater Dock Junction, GA area. The Maintenance Supervisor oversees repair, maintenance, and installation of facility equipment to ensure safety, efficiency, and reliability. This role leads a team of technicians, manages scheduling and training, and drives preventive maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with safety, food safety, and regulatory standards; train and hold technicians accountable
• Plan, schedule, and supervise maintenance work to optimize manpower and minimize downtime
• Troubleshoot and support complex repairs; lead preventive maintenance and reliability programs
• Manage and develop technician performance and training; maintain accurate training and compliance records

Candidates Must Have:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• At least 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance (food industry )
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, PLC, ammonia refrigeration, and water treatment systems
• Proven leadership and decision-making abilities
• Strong communication and organizational skills
