About the Role:

The Maintenance Staff plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing processes at Seneca House. This position is responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment, which is essential for minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity. The Maintenance Staff will also conduct inspections to identify potential issues before they escalate, thereby maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Additionally, this role involves collaborating with other team members to implement preventive maintenance strategies and improve overall operational efficiency. Ultimately, the Maintenance Staff contributes significantly to the reliability and longevity of manufacturing equipment, supporting the company's commitment to quality and excellence.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in maintenance or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing
  • Ability to read, write, communicate and follow directions.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in skilled nursing or working with elderly or disabled individuals.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine inspections of building, safety checks and ensure we are in compliance
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing and issues as they arise.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
  • Collaborate with staff to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to operations.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of preventive maintenance programs.

The required skills for this position include a strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities, which are essential for diagnosing and repairing equipment issues effectively.
