  • The pay rate for this position at hire is $32.98/hr ($68,600.00/yr). Current THA employees transferring into this position are placed in line with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
  • This position is based on-site and requires in-person attendance at the assigned THA locations. Remote or hybrid work arrangements are not available for this position.

What You’ll Do:

As a Maintenance Specialist, you’ll ensure THA’s properties are enjoyable places to live and work. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and appliance issues.
  • Performing basic repairs in plumbing, electrical, drywall, carpentry, painting, and heating.
  • Conducting general maintenance and custodial services, including for turn over and lease up, event prep, and other activities.
  • Coordinating workload with property management staff and completing work orders promptly.
  • Maintaining inventory control over equipment and supplies.
  • Accompanying staff and outside personnel during inspections and treatments.
  • Identifying and addressing potential hazards and safety concerns.

Who You Are:

You’re a skilled professional with:

  • A high school diploma or GED (technical/trade school maintenance program and certification ).
  • 5+ years of related building maintenance experience.
  • Knowledge of safe work practices and the ability to use various hand and power tools and other equipment safely and effectively.
  • Basic landscaping knowledge and computer skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact respectfully and effectively with diverse individuals.
  • A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Availability for on-call shifts and after-hours emergencies.
