Title – Maintenance Planner
Location – Casa Grande, AZ
1 Year contract
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Onsite)
Pay rate: $30/hr - $35/hr on W2
Summary
The Facilities, Maintenance & Calibration Planner is responsible for coordinating, scheduling, and tracking all facilities, maintenance, and calibration activities to ensure seamless production operations. This role serves as a central point of contact between maintenance, supply chain, operations, and facilities to maintain compliance and minimize downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate preventive maintenance (PM), calibration, and facilities activities according to production requirements.
- Collaborate with maintenance supervisors, operations, and supply chain to ensure planned activities are executed without disrupting manufacturing schedules.
- Develop and maintain maintenance schedules, equipment logs, and calibration records in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Conduct field checks and ensure planning accuracy for upcoming work orders and shutdowns.
- Track and report maintenance KPIs, such as schedule adherence, equipment uptime, and work order completion rates.
- Support change control activities, including updates to equipment documentation and maintenance procedures.
- Review new equipment for in the maintenance and calibration program; manage equipment configuration records for compliance.
- Benchmark maintenance practices with other facilities to identify and implement cost and process improvements.
- Assist in managing vendor coordination, service contracts, and spare parts inventory.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, GDP, and safety regulations during maintenance and facilities operations.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in maintenance coordination, operations, or industrial maintenance.
- Experience: 2–4 years in facilities planning, maintenance scheduling, or calibration coordination within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong understanding of maintenance planning systems (CMMS) and asset management tools.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and collaborate cross-functionally.
