PPS is seeking a self-starting and efficient Maintenance Planner to head up department scheduling at our aluminum extrusion facility in Coburg.

The Maintenance Planner is responsible for directing and coordinating activities of skilled trades people engaged in the maintenance of extrusion presses, including planning and developing schedules for regular maintenance, preventative maintenance, and predictive maintenance utilizing a CMMS.

This is a full-time, permanent, direct-hire position with a highly competitive pay rate, second-to-none benefits, and a high ceiling for growth!

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain records and files essential to the meaningful analysis and reporting of maintenance-related matters.
  • Receive, review, manage maintenance work orders.
  • Identify and obtain materials, tools, and equipment necessary to ensure successful completion of scheduled maintenance.
  • Attend and participate in maintenance group meetings and other group function meetings and trainings.
  • Work with facility leaders to properly prioritize work and ensure proper resource allocation.
  • Communicate maintenance issues for proper delegation of work.
  • Identify changes needed to PM program based on activity results.
  • Analyze downtime.
  • Schedule maintenance outages.
  • Distribute work schedules one week prior to due date.
  • Perform post-job reviews to ensure work performed and post maintenance testing was adequate.
  • Quality check received merchandise.
  • Inventory control.
  • Parts kitting.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with CMMS systems.
  • Knowledge of industrial equipment.
  • Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to company policies and procedures.
