We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong handyman background and be proficient in various maintenance tasks.
We are Short-Term Rental Management Company based in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The candidate will need a car and clean license to be considered for this position. Good communication skills and organization are a must.
We have many vacation properties in which we rent on various internet platforms such as Airbnb and VRBO. Our company strives to provide our guests with a clean upkept and enjoyable stay to create a memorable experience. As well as operating as efficiently as possible for our clients and our staff.
We are a full-service company, so we are managing everything from the nightly pricing rates, 24/7 guest interaction and communication, purchasing of goods and amenities for the home cleaning and general repairs, we offer interior design and décor packages and in some cases light renovation projects and project management consulting. We do a bit of everything.
Duties
-Communication with management for scheduling repairs of damages
-Updating Google Docs service logs
-Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for work orders and inventory tracking
-Scheduling and outsourcing repairs from licensed professionals when it is something we cannot take care of in house
-Assessing and repairing wear and tear at properties
-Minor repairs and general handyman work.
-Troubleshooting and repair issues
-Taking garbage cans in and out on specific days at properties.
-Assisting in Home décor and interior design set ups in properties. Hanging TVs, putting up blinds and curtains. Setting up and putting together furniture
-Running business errands and general assistance of anything pertaining to the business.
-Occasional property supply drop offs
Requirements
- Proficiency in English
- Mechanical knowledge and experience
- Field service experience is a plus
-Basic Knowledge of Electric, Plumbing and HVAC
-Have your own tools for whatever issue that might need to be fixed
- Valid Drivers License
Candidate must be organized and well put together. Must be able to communicate well with ourselves and others. If you do not know how to do basic handyman work such as hanging a tv, hanging a ceiling fan or light fixture, changing a HVAC Filter, replacing a toilet or installing door handles and locks please do not apply. This is not the learn as you go type of position. We will train you to our business operations and expectations but we are not willing to teach someone how to do basic handyman tasks.
We do have a company truck that can be used for some shifts, Candidate will need their own truck or car as well.

Paid time off after 120 days.

After 6 months paid Dental and Vision by employer.
- HOURS
This is a Full time position Shifts are 9:30AM to 5:00 with a 30min paid lunch break. Sunday, Mondays and Fridays are a must. Off days either Wednesday or Thursday and always off Saturdays.
