This is a 12 week temp to perm opportunity offering the chance to work alongside an experienced Engineer, develop valuable maintenance skills, and secure a long term career within a stable manufacturing environment.\n

Option 1:Day Shift \n
\n Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 17:00\n
\n Friday: 08:00 - 16:00 \n
\n
Option 2:  Alternating Weekly Shift\n
\n  Week 1Monday to Friday: 06:00 - 14:30 \n
\n Week 2Monday to Friday: 14:00 - 22:30 20% Shift Premium Paid after 14:00pm\n

Key Responsibilities\n
\n

\n
• Supporting the Site Engineer with maintenance and repair tasks

\n

• Assisting with machinery, equipment and facility maintenance

\n

• Carrying out basic mechanical repairs and upkeep

\n

• Supporting preventative maintenance schedules

\n

• Using hand and power tools safely and effectively

\n

• Assisting with installation and assembly work as required

\n

• Moving materials and equipment around site

\n

• Reporting faults, breakdowns and health & safety concerns

\n

• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment

\n

• Supporting the wider team with general maintenance duties

\n

What We're Looking For\n
\n

\n
• Previous maintenance, engineering or mechanical experience

\n

• Handyman, workshop or fitting experience considered

\n

• Comfortable using hand and power tools

\n

• Good mechanical aptitude and practical skills

\n

• Electrical awareness would be advantageous

\n

• Counterbalance Forklift Licence

\n

• lReliable, punctual and hardworking

\n

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

\n

• Strong attention to health and safety

\n

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

\n
