Maintenance Mechanic Technician
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic Technician for a company based in the north side of Houston, Texas. In this role you will be required to install, repair, and maintain mechanical systems and equipment including pumps, blowers, valves, centrifuges, rollers, and gearboxes. This role involves troubleshooting, performing preventative and corrective maintenance, and interpreting technical documents such as schematics and OEM manuals. Safety and compliance with industry standards are essential.
Pay Rate
$24-$28 per hour
Schedule and Hours
Monday to Saturday, 7:00pm to 7am (Night Shift)
60 hours a week or more, depending on the weekly workload.
Maintenance Mechanic Technician Duties and Responsibilities
• Maintain and repair mechanical systems and components
• Install/remove molds as needed
• Perform root cause analysis and preventative maintenance
• Interpret technical documents accurately
• Work independently or as part of a team
• Follow all safety protocols
Maintenance Mechanic Technician Qualifications and Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of mechanical maintenance experience
• Welding and metal fabrication a plus
• Proficient with schematics and technical documentation
• Skilled in using power tools and equipment
• Able to operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs. and performing physical tasks
• Self-motivated and safety-focused
