We are working with a leading food manufacturer looking for 1st and 2nd shift Maintenance Mechanics for their at their facility in Oswego County. The Maintenance Mechanic will provide daily and weekly machine maintenance, Preventative maintenance, assembling, and disassembling of machines for production.

Location: Oswego County, NY

Job Responsibilities:

• Performs troubleshooting on production equipment as required
• Assemble and disassemble machines
• Set up and take down of machines for daily production
• Completing the preventative maintenance schedule as assigned for all machines and equipment, including but not limited to oiling of machines and regular maintenance
• Troubleshoot, install, repair and maintain the operating condition of industrial production and processing machinery and equipment
• Perform weekly rounds and inspections of machines to ensure all are running properly
• Complete accurate and timely documentation of maintenance records, work orders and task records.
• Comply with federal, state and local safety regulations.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

• 1+ prior industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing environment required
• Food manufacturing experience is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Handy work experience
• Ability to trouble-shoot electrical, hydraulic systems and pneumatic equipment.
• Must be able to read and write in English. Spanish is a plus.
