The Maintenance Mechanic plays a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and safety of industrial equipment. Reporting to a supervisor, this position is responsible for performing repairs, preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and safety inspections to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency. The mechanic also handles equipment installation, maintenance documentation using CMMS and manual methods, tool management, and machine calibration.

Responsibilities

• Perform equipment repair and diagnostics to identify and resolve issues promptly
• Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce equipment breakdowns
• Carry out safety inspections to ensure compliance with standards
• Install and calibrate machinery as required
• Maintain accurate maintenance documentation using CMMS and manual records
• Manage tools and equipment inventory effectively
• Coordinate with supervisors to report status and needs

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical maintenance
• High school diploma or equivalent
