About the Role
In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery and mechanical systems. You’ll work independently, manage your own tasks, and support a strong team environment to keep our operations running smoothly.
What You’ll Do
- Perform preventative maintenance on motors, pneumatic tools, and production machinery.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues using manuals, diagrams, and precision measuring tools (e.g., VOMs, amp meters, micrometers, calipers, pressure/flow meters).
- Apply knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.
- Conduct basic PLC diagnostics and machine troubleshooting.
- Perform MIG, TIG, and gas welding on steel, aluminum, and copper components.
- Fabricate parts and repairs using shop tools such as lathes, grinders, and drill presses.
- Maintain parts and supply inventory; assist with ordering and receiving.
- Log maintenance activities and track trends using maintenance software.
- Support emergency repairs and respond quickly to breakdowns.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical instructions.
- Collaborate with team members while staying accountable for individual tasks.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
- Trade certification or technical degree —or equivalent hands-on experience.
- 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive, self-sufficient approach to work.
- Welding experience (MIG and TIG required).
- Familiarity with electrical basics, plumbing, and power tools.
- Comfortable working with minimal supervision while contributing to team goals.
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles (5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma) is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
