Maintenance Mechanic

Hours: 6am - 2:30pm Tues - Sat

Pay: $22.00/hr. + depending on experience

Great company looking for an Industrial experienced individual. Maintenance Mechanics repair and maintain mechanical/hydraulic components of production machines and equipment. They will use hand tools, power tools and precision measuring and testing equipment to perform maintenance activities. They will be responsible for visually inspecting and listening to machines and equipment to locate causes of malfunctions. They may utilize skills in metal working, welding, electrical, plumbing, woodworking, etc.

Skills and Qualifications

Must provide their own basic hand tools (Wrenches, sockets, ratchets, screwdrivers, Allen wrenches, pliers, cutters, pipe wrench, welding hood, etc.), be able to operate a torch, weld both stick and mig welding as well as replace bearings, conveyor rollers, and vernal conveyor maintenance, as well as hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge.

Qualifications:

Able to use and work from heights using ladders and aerial lift devices

Able to lift up to 50lbs

Flexible with schedule and available to work any hours

Available for emergency call-outs at any time

MUST PASS A FORKLIFT TEST!!!!

Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check. 

Must have knowledge in:

Bearings

Gearboxes

Conveyor belt system and components

Hydraulics (Basic)

Pneumatics (Basic)

Pumps

Chain, sprockets, alignment/sizes/adjustment

Plumbing

Welding / Fabrication
