PROMAN Staffing has partnered with our client, a global manufacturer business machines, records storage and office accessories to source and hire a tenured Maintenance Mechanic to join their team on THIRD SHIFT in Aurora, Ill.

Direct Hire Opportunity!

As a Maintenance Mechanic you will perform troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on production equipment to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance. Maintain a clean, safe work environment and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Maintenance Mechanic Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production machinery
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, and technical drawings
• Operate shop equipment (e.g., mills, lathes, drill presses, band saws, welders)
• Assist with machine setups and production readiness
• Conduct safety checks and enforce lockout/tagout procedures

Maintenance Mechanic Qualifications:

• 5+ years of mechanical and manufacturing maintenance experience
• Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Able to read blueprints, technical schematics, and follow instructions
• Basic PC and keyboarding skills for data entry in MP2
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
