Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic
Location : Calumet City, IL (onsite)
Contract Duration: until 02/15/2026

• Troubleshoots electrical equipment, PLC's, DCS and other controlsRepairs Pumps, Valves, and other Process Equipment with minimal supervision. 
• Assists with RCA’s and other incidents investigationsSupports SAP management of spare parts, work orders, and other reportsSupports plant EHS programs, PSM programs and other Bostik initiatives·
• Follows all plant policies and practices to ensure safety, quality, service, and cost objectives are met.
• Practice continuous quality improvement in all processes.
• Fully supports Bostik's goal of zero work place safety incidents and supports and participates in Bostik's EHS Programs.·
• Knowledgeable of and practices root cause analysis·
• Knowledgeable of and practices Preventive and Predictive Maintenance·
• Be a project team member and lead some small projects or sub-projects of a larger project.·
• Practice safe work habits in accordance with OSHA and EPA guidelines.·
• Repair and maintain equipment and assets in a safe and efficient manner.·
• Work with production/operations and have knowledge of Bostik products and equipment.
• Understanding maintenance processes, applications, and terminology related to manufacturing.
• Dailyuse of hand and power tools. Must safely repair electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, plumbing, mechanical,and HVAC systems.
• Basic welding, millwrighting, and blueprint and schematic reading.· Work cooperatively with all employees, vendors, and contractors.·
• Assists in maintaining an acceptable level of housekeeping.· Completes all required paperwork accurately.·
• Performs various troubleshooting and preventative maintenance duties to equipment as needed.·
• Work in other areas as needed.·
• Tracking performance against goals including – uptime, downtime, mean tie to failure etc.
