Key Responsibilities:
· Team leadership: Manage, train, and supervise maintenance staff, conduct performance reviews, and foster a safe work environment. Work directly with the vendors to achieve proper outcomes.
· Maintenance and repair: Oversee all maintenance procedures, including scheduling preventive maintenance, diagnosing and repairing equipment issues, and managing installation of new systems.
· Operational efficiency: Analyze current processes, implement measures to minimize breakdowns, and troubleshooting problems to reduce downtime.
· Safety and compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, conduct safety inspections, and maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
· Budget and inventory: Develop and manage the maintenance budget, control parts inventory, and negotiate with vendors for parts and services.
· Record keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and repair history. Comply with out regulatory procedures.
· Collaboration: Work with other departments and leadership to support production goals and ensure plant reliability. Work with the Plant managers to ensure business needs are met.
Requirements:
Required Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in plastic injection molding, including technical processing and troubleshooting.
· Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
· 4 years of Industrial electrical experience.
· Proficient in Microsoft products
Required Skills and Competencies:
· Technical knowledge: A strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems is essential.
· Leadership and management: Experience in leading, training, and motivating a team is crucial.
· Budgeting: The ability to develop and manage a departmental budget is required.
· Problem-solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills are needed to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
· Safety focus: A thorough understanding of health and safety regulations is critical for this role.
· Communication: Excellent communication skills are necessary for interacting with staff, vendors, and other departments
