Summary:
Under general supervision of the Regional Maintenance Manager, perform general maintenance tasks on equipment in the plant to ensure safe and proper operations daily.
Essential Job Duties:

Responsible for following the budget guideline for the maintenance department.

Responsible for scheduling and directing the maintenance and custodial staff.

Responsible for creating and directing a preventative maintenance program with the ultimate goal of attaining a zero-downtime environment.

Responsible for maintaining adequate and organized parts inventory and sourcing the best overall pricing of the necessary parts and supplies.

Ordering any needed parts for laundry facilities

Obtain approval from the Regional Maintenance Manager for orders over $1,000.

Responsible for maintenance staff recruiting and training in all aspects of industrial maintenance.

Responsible for obtaining/maintaining all licenses and permits associated with pressure vessels, backflow preventers, wastewater discharge permits, and state-required guidelines related to piping and equipment as needed.

Responsible for managing the custodial function and staff. Ensure appropriate supplies are available at all times to clean the plant daily correctly.

Responsible for on-time startup and shutdown of the facility.

Responsible for staff evaluations, recommendations, and guiding the maintenance staff to ensure continued career development.

Responsible for following all company growth programs annually.

Participate in safety meetings with the entire staff.

Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
-
Must possess strong knowledge and troubleshooting skills in Electrical, Mechanical, Pneumatic, Hydraulics, Steam, and Natural Gas Combustion.

Strong communication skills, verbal and written, interpersonal and listening skills, and ability to speak effectively before groups of customers and employees.

Ability to deal with problems involving variables in standardized situations and excellent people skills.

Ability to read, understand and interrupt technical manuals.

Demonstrate strong computer proficiency, with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel), including typing skills and the ability to navigate through multiple computer systems.
