Maintenance Manager / Lead Engineer (Electrical Bias)
Food Manufacturing | £49,000 - £52,000 | Days (7am-4pm, flexible)

We're recruiting a hands-on Maintenance Manager / Lead Engineer to join a well-established food production business. This is a great opportunity for an electrically biased engineer ready to step into (or continue in) a leadership role while staying actively involved on the tools.

\n The Role\n

• Lead and support a small team of 2 engineers\n

\n

• 70/30 split - electrically biased, hands-on role\n

\n

• Maintain and troubleshoot:\n
  \n
  • Sensors, relays, and drives

  \n

  • Single & three-phase motors

  \n

  • Food production machinery

  \n

  \n

\n

• Drive reliability and continuous improvement across the site

\n

\n✅ Requirements\n

\n
• Electrical qualifications (essential)

\n

• Food/FMCG manufacturing background (essential)

\n

• Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience

\n

• Comfortable leading a small team while remaining hands-on

\n

\n Training & Progression\n

• Some training provided

• Limited progression structure currently, but opportunity to shape the role

• \nSalary: £49,000 - £52,000

• \nHours: 7am - 4pm (flexibility required)

• \nShift Pattern: Days only

• \nHolidays: 25 days + bank holidays
