Maintenance Manager
An established, high-volume manufacturing facility s seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead its site maintenance function. This role offers the chance to make a real impact within a dynamic, performance-driven production environment that values innovation, safety, and continuous improvement.
About the Role
As Maintenance Manager, you will take full ownership of the site’s maintenance program, ensuring all equipment, utilities, and facilities are effectively maintained and fully compliant with safety and operational requirements.
You will be responsible for developing and driving maintenance strategies that enhance reliability, efficiency, and production performance. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to assess maintenance effectiveness, identify training needs, and lead improvement initiatives that deliver measurable results.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading the maintenance strategy to ensure optimal performance and asset reliability.
* Driving continuous improvement projects to maximise line utilisation and reduce downtime.
* Managing maintenance budgets and making data-driven investment decisions.
* Planning and executing asset care programs to ensure high standards of quality and safety.
* Supporting technical projects and capital investment activity across the site.
* Mentoring and developing apprentices and technical staff to strengthen site capability.
About You
You are a motivated and technically strong leader with experience managing maintenance operations in a fast-paced manufacturing or processing environment. You can demonstrate a track record of improving asset care systems, driving mechanical efficiencies, and managing budgets effectively.
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills will be key to success in this role. Experience with continuous improvement methodologies and CAPEX project delivery will be a distinct advantage.
