A Maintenance Manager will oversee the manufacturing plant to ensg all are safe, efficient, and in good working order by creating and implementing maintenance procedures, supervising staff, managing budgets, performing inspections, and handling repairs. Key duties include preventing breakdowns, adhering to safety and legal regulations, training personnel, documenting reports, and managing the procurement of parts and supplies.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and Implement Maintenance Programs:
Design and enforce maintenance procedures for facilities, equipment, and assets to ensure optimal operation.

Budget Management:
Manage maintenance department budgets, track expenses, and approve orders for new supplies.

Facility and Equipment Inspections:
Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and machinery to identify and resolve issues before they become major problems.

Staff Supervision and Training:
Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate maintenance staff to ensure quality work and a safe work environment.

Repairs and Upkeep:
Oversee both planned (preventative) and unplanned (corrective) repairs to all company equipment and facilities.

Safety and Compliance:
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with relevant health, safety, and legal regulations, and provide safety training to staff.

Reporting and Documentation:
Maintain accurate maintenance logs, track daily progress, and prepare detailed reports on maintenance activities and budget status.

Procurement and Vendor Management:
Manage inventory, order necessary parts and supplies, and maintain relationships with external vendors and contractors.
