About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance function across three chemical manufacturing sites in the Cleveland area. This individual will play a key leadership role in ensuring plant reliability, efficiency, and safety while driving continuous improvement through Lean initiatives and Kaizen events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee maintenance operations across three manufacturing sites, with initial focus on the Wayside facility before rotating between all locations.
- Manage and develop a team of Maintenance Supervisors and a Facilities Maintenance Technician.
- Partner with the Plant Manager to align maintenance strategies with business objectives.
- Ensure effective preventive and predictive maintenance programs are in place to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability.
- Lead and participate in Lean/Kaizen events to drive efficiency, reduce costs, and improve operational effectiveness.
- Monitor maintenance budgets, control costs, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and EHS teams to support capital projects and facility upgrades.
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement across all maintenance teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering required.
- 5–7 years of progressive maintenance or manufacturing leadership experience, preferably in chemical or industrial manufacturing.
- Demonstrated experience leading Lean/Kaizen initiatives and driving process improvements.
- Strong leadership and people management skills with experience managing supervisors or cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel regularly between company’s three Cleveland sites.
