Maintenance Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance function at a large-scale manufacturing site in the Leicestershire area. This is a hands-on leadership role, responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of complex production machinery.



Key Responsibilities:



- Oversee and deliver all planned and reactive maintenance activities across the site.

- Develop, manage, and implement a preventative maintenance programme to minimise breakdowns and maximise uptime.

- Lead, supervise, and develop the maintenance team, driving performance against KPIs and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

- Coordinate maintenance projects and liaise with contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure effective delivery.

- Implement corrective and preventative safety measures, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

- Manage spare parts inventory in collaboration with the stock control function.

- Prepare, monitor, and control the annual maintenance budget.

- Ensure accurate logging and reporting of activities within the maintenance management system.

- Contribute to the improvement of reliability processes, ensuring production lines operate at optimum efficiency.



Requirements:



- Previous experience in management within a manufacturing, heavy or process plant environment.

- Strong knowledge of SAP or similar maintenance management systems.

- Proven track record of leading teams and managing projects.

- Demonstrated ability to deliver continuous improvements in safety, reliability, and efficiency.
