Maintenance Lead – First Shift

St. Paul, MN

$44.16/hr + $8,000 in annual bonuses

Mon–Fri, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM

Step into a hands-on leadership role in a high-speed precision tooling facility! As a working Maintenance Lead, you’ll collaborate directly with a skilled team of 7 technicians and the Maintenance Facilitator to keep operations running smoothly. This isn’t an office-based role—you’ll be troubleshooting, repairing, and problem-solving alongside your team from day one.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and work alongside a team of 7 maintenance technicians in a union environment
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems on CNC machines and support equipment
• Support welding and light fabrication tasks (MIG required; TIG/aluminum a bonus)
• Manage work orders and inventory using CMMS
• Coordinate with internal departments and vendors to maintain seamless operations
• Assist with rigging, moving, and installing equipment as needed

What You’ll Bring:

• 5+ years in industrial maintenance with strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to contribute technically from day one—hands-on experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems required
• Practical welding skills (MIG required; TIG/aluminum a bonus)
• Collaborative, accountable, and reliable mindset
• Comfortable with MS Office and CMMS tools
