Maintenance Lead

Responsibilities:
1. Safety: Follow all plant protocols including lockout tagout (LOTO), confined space, and use of proper PPE when performing daily tasks. Ensure all equipment meets OSHA and EPA standards.
2. Preventative Maintenance: Conduct inspections and servicing of pumps, compressors, valves, motors, and other plant equipment on a regular basis. Lubricate machinery, replace filters & worn parts, and clean components to prevent premature failures.
3. Regular Maintenance/Repairs: As equipment failures happen work with the production team to identify what is critical and get it back going in a safely & timely manner. Repair/replace defective equipment and document causes.
4. Equipment Monitoring: Communicate common equipment issues and causes to management. Work on a plan for improvement of equipment run ability.
5. Shop and Tool Management: Work with supervisor to keep spare parts cage stocked and maintain organization within the maintenance shop.
6. Communication: Regularly check with the production team to see when preventative maintenance can be done on equipment and what repair jobs take priority. Work with supervisor to coordinate with outside contractors when repair job is too big or requires further expertise.
7. On-call: This is not a 24/7 facility but in the rare cases equipment failures occur on off hours there could be a need for emergency jobs where maintenance lead will need to be called in.
8. Leadership: Take ownership of maintenance performance and work with production teams on improving our overall reliability
