Maintenance Inventory Coordinator

Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management:Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including tracking stock levels, ordering new supplies, and monitoring usage rates.
- Supply Chain Coordination:Work closely with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of inventory items, negotiate pricing and terms, and resolve any issues related to supply chain management.
- Inventory Control:Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to minimize waste, loss, and theft. Conduct regular audits and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
- Data Analysis:Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand, and make data-driven decisions regarding inventory levels and ordering quantities.
- Documentation:Keep detailed records of inventory transactions, including receipts, withdrawals, and adjustments. Maintain documentation for compliance and audit purposes.
- Collaboration:Collaborate with other departments such as maintenance, operations, and purchasing to coordinate inventory needs and ensure smooth workflow.
- Equipment Maintenance:Assist in maintaining equipment and tools related to inventory management, such as barcode scanners, storage systems, and inventory software.
Qualifications:
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required. Additional education in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field is beneficial.
- Experience: Previous experience in inventory management, supply chain management, or a similar role is . Familiarity with inventory software and data analysis tools is a plus.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines effectively.
- Attention to Detail: Attention to detail is crucial in maintaining accurate inventory records and identifying discrepancies.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for collaborating with team members, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to identify issues, implement solutions, and prevent inventory-related problems.- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and contribute to achieving departmental goals.
Skills:
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Knowledge of inventory control best practices and procedures.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills for data analysis and forecasting.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions based on inventory data and company policies.
- Familiarity with inventory management techniques such as FIFO (First In, First Out) and JIT (Just In Time) inventory control.
