Maintenance / Handyperson - Apartment Property | Day Shift

We’re hiring a full-time Maintenance / Handyperson to support apartment property upkeep in Carlsbad, CA. This is a temp-to-hire, day shift role working Monday through Saturday, with occasional on-call weekend availability required. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in residential maintenance, a strong work ethic, and the ability to interact professionally with tenants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete general maintenance work orders, including tenant interactions

• Perform painting, drywall installation, and flooring installation

• Repair sinks, toilets, outlets, and light plumbing issues

• Maintain building and grounds in clean and functional condition

• Respond to on-call weekend maintenance needs, as required

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of residential property maintenance experience

• Strong handyman skills across multiple trades

• Ability to communicate effectively with tenants and property staff

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

• Must be reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented

• Background check and drug screen may be required
