Amplify Energy Corp. is an upstream company focused on the acquisition, production, and development of oil and gas properties in the United States. Our properties consist of mature, legacy oil and natural gas fields. We are focused on maintaining production across our high-quality asset base and executing our strategic priorities. We are currently seeking a Maintenance/I&E Foreman to join our Wyoming Asset Team.

Maintenance/I&E Foreman, candidates must possess a blend of technical expertise and soft skills that enable them to effectively lead maintenance teams, manage resources, and ensure operational efficiency.

      • Control instrumentation and PLC knowledge – Ladder logic knowledge is a plus
    • Basic Electrical knowledge.

  • Leadership abilities to manage and motivate a team.
  • Effective communication skills for clear interaction with team members and management.
  • Project management skills to oversee maintenance projects and schedules.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in maintenance operations.
  • Ability to analyze data and generate reports for maintenance performance metrics

The knowledge, skills, and abilities required for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  1. Minimum of 5 years previous Plant Operations, or applicable operational experience from an E&P operating company required.
  2. Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity required.
  3. HS diploma or equivalent required.
  4. Candidate must have analytical skills and an understanding of plant operations
  5. Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products
  6. A Safe driving record, along with the ability to safely operate vehicles or equipment as needed is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead a team of I&E technicians, electricians, and contractors to perform preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
  • Coordinate daily maintenance schedules, manpower assignments, and repair activities with other departments.
  • Ensure all work is executed in compliance with OSHA, NEC, API, and company safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and repair instrumentation, control systems, PLCs, RTUs, motors, switchgear, VFDs, transformers, and other electrical systems.
  • Oversee the installation, calibration, and configuration of measurement and automation devices (pressure, level, temperature, and flow).
  • Review electrical and instrumentation schematics and provide input on system design improvements.
  • Maintain documentation of all maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and equipment history.
  • Collaborate with engineering, HSE, and operations teams to optimize reliability and minimize downtime.
  • Maintain proper inventory of critical spare parts and tools required for I&E operations.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior technicians and ensure team competency development.
  • Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s Degree or Technical Certification in Electrical, Instrumentation, or related field .
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in oil & gas I&E maintenance with at least 3 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
  • Extensive knowledge of industrial electrical systems, process instrumentation, and automation.
  • Strong working knowledge of safety practices, industry codes, and compliance standards.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting P&IDs, electrical drawings, and schematics.
  • Experience with PLCs, SCADA systems, and hazardous area classification.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to remote locations as needed.

  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office.

Working Conditions:

  • Plant environment with exposure to heat, cold, noise, hazardous chemicals, and equipment.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
  • Rotating on-call responsibilities and availability for after-hours or emergency support.
