RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment to ensure maximum uptime and operational efficiency
  • Provide hands-on technical support on the production floor, with a strong focus on resolving recurring equipment issues
  • Assist with installation, commissioning, and support of new equipment and capital projects
  • Support engineering teams in improving manufacturing processes, efficiency, and reliability
  • Set up, monitor, and adjust production equipment to ensure proper operation and adherence to specifications
  • Analyze production data to identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions
  • Ensure adherence to work instructions, standard operating procedures, and safety guidelines
  • Manage and maintain spare parts inventory and tracking systems
  • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance activities on mechanical and electrical systems
  • Diagnose issues involving pumps, motors, and related equipment using electrical and mechanical troubleshooting techniques
  • Collaborate with operators and engineers to resolve production, quality, and process-related challenges
  • Act as a liaison between engineering and operations to support continuous improvement initiatives

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 3+ years of relevant experience, or Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field with 1+ year of experience
  • Strong hands-on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Experience working with industrial equipment such as pumps, motors, and automated systems
  • Ability to quickly learn and understand complex machinery and processes
  • Familiarity with preventative maintenance practices and equipment reliability concepts
  • Experience supporting production operations in a fast-paced environment with high uptime expectations
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
  • Proficiency with basic computer systems and maintenance or inventory tracking software
  • PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus (programming not required)
  • Willingness to spend the majority of time in a hands-on, shop floor environment
