About Us: 2Sisters Food Group in Rogerstone are a leading name in the food manufacturing industry, dedicated to delivering high-quality meals. We are looking for a dynamic Head of Engineering to lead our team and drive strategic initiatives at our site in Newport.

The Role: As the Maintenance Engineering Manager, you'll report into the Head of Engineering and lead half of the site - with full responsibility for performance, compliance, strategy, and people development. This is a role with real influence, visibility, and the chance to make change happen.

What You'll Be Doing:
\n
- \n
- Oversee maintenance operations across the low-care side of the factory, managing a team of around 20 engineers and apprentices.
- Work closely with Shift Managers and Asset Care Technicians to ensure efficient, proactive maintenance.
- Provide technical support for breakdowns, emergencies, and improvement projects.
- Lead on 1:1s, coaching, training, and team development, as well as managing holidays and disciplinaries.
- Deliver continuous improvement and engineering projects, acting as the link between production and maintenance.
- Champion asset management best practices and contribute to the ongoing improvement of the site.

What We're Looking For:

- Strong technical background, ideally multi-skilled with an electrical bias.
- Proven leadership and people management experience within manufacturing or FMCG.
- Skilled in communication, organisation, and motivating teams.
- Proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Confident managing both hands-on maintenance and high-level strategy.
