Maintenance Engineer£45,000-£48,000 - Days - WrexhamWe're recruiting on behalf of a well-established packaging manufacturer looking to add a mechanically biased Maintenance Engineer to their close-knit engineering team. This is a days based position, working Monday-Friday: 8:00am-4:30pm with 1 in 4 Saturdays (6 hours), with time off in lieu during the following week.Supplying bespoke packaging solutions to customers across a wide range of industries, the business has continued to invest in its production facilities, equipment and engineering function, creating a stable manufacturing environment with a strong order book.In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining a wide range of machinery, ensuring high levels of reliability, minimising downtime and supporting ongoing engineering improvements.The Maintenance Engineer ResponsibilitiesReacting quickly to breakdowns on production machineryReading and following engineering drawingsCompleting planned preventative maintenance during the scheduled shiftDiagnosing and repairing mechanical and basic electrical faults on production equipment.Stripping, repairing and rebuilding mechanical assemblies.Maintain mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and basic electrical systems (e.g conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, chains, belts and motors)Carrying out machine adjustments, changeovers and equipment improvements to improve reliability.Salary£45,000-£48,000Experience RequiredStrong mechanical fault-finding skills.Basic electrical maintenance skillsExperience maintaining industrial manufacturing machineryThis is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking for a stable, days-based role with a great work-life balance and a supportive engineering team.ASC Connections Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
