Job Role of the Maintenance Engineer
An exciting opportunity is available for a Maintenance Engineer to become part of a friendly and cooperative engineering team in a high-volume manufacturing setting. The organisation promotes a strong team ethos, with a real focus on respect, communication, and working together effectively.
In this role, you'll handle a mix of electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks. This includes diagnosing faults, responding quickly to equipment breakdowns, and carrying out planned maintenance to ensure machinery runs efficiently and downtime is kept to a minimum. You'll also play a key role in continuous improvement projects, support equipment upgrades and installations, and collaborate with production teams to enhance safety, performance, and overall productivity on site.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Maintenance Engineer
Experience within a manufacturing environment.
Hands on experience with pre-planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in fast paced industrial factory.
Engineering qualification (Electrical or Mechanical)
Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer
Electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience.
Experience working within a fast paced manufacturing environment
Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK.
Ideally have experience with working on PLC's, ideally being able to fault find using inputs and outputs
