Job Description

Maintenance Engineer
Wrexham
£48,000 per annum
Sunday - Thursday Nights

gap technical are proud to be representing a food manufacturing business in their search for a Maintenance Engineer to join their team at a modern facility near Wrexham.

Key Responsibilities:

\n
• Respond effectively to equipment breakdowns to support the manufacturing process.

\n

• Carry out scheduled maintenance tasks and implement corrective actions on reoccurring faults.

\n

• Prioritise breakdowns and maintain focus on your nominated production area.

\n

• Fault-find efficiently using technical documentation and machine history.

\n

• Work collaboratively with operational teams to ensure minimal downtime.

\n

• Train operators in minor maintenance and assist in major repair tasks.

\n

• Maintain machinery to a high standard in line with safety and quality expectations.

\n

• Contribute to continuous improvement and reduction of engineering downtime.

\n

Candidate Profile:

\n
• Time-served engineering apprenticeship ().

\n

• Multi skilled Engineer with either electrical bias.

\n

• Experience in food, FMCG, or packaging manufacturing is highly desirable.

\n

• Strong communication, planning, and organisational skills are essential.

\n
