Job DescriptionMaintenance Engineer
Location: Leicester
Salary: £45,000
Shifts: Monday–Friday, rotating shifts
06:00–14:00 and 12:00–20:00
We are looking for a mechanical and electrical Maintenance Engineer to support the reliability and performance of our production facilities. You will minimise downtime through effective Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), respond to breakdowns, and help improve safety, efficiency, and equipment reliability.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on plant and machinery

Diagnose faults, respond to breakdowns, and complete repairs efficiently

Contribute to improving PPM schedules and reducing repeat faults

Ensure machinery is safe, compliant, and operating correctly

Maintain accurate maintenance records

Support new equipment installations and manage contractors onsite

Work closely with production and engineering teams

About You
Essential:

Minimum of a level 3 Qualification

Industrial/manufacturing background

Electrical or mechanical maintenance experience

Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
