Job DescriptionMaintenance Engineer £55,000 + Company Benefits Monday - Friday - 8am - 4pm * Enhanced overtime rates We’re looking for a hands-on Maintenance Engineer to join a growing team responsible for maintaining power facilities. This is a varied role where you’ll be working on plant equipment in renewable energy environments, carrying out maintenance, responding to breakdowns, and helping improve system performance and reliability. What you’ll be doing * Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on all mechanical plant equipment in accordance with the maintenance schedule. * Carry out reactive maintenance and breakdown repairs to minimise plant downtime. * Diagnose mechanical faults and identify root causes of equipment failures. * Overhaul, repair and replace mechanical components including bearings, gearboxes, pumps, valves, conveyors and rotating equipment. * Assist with major planned outages, shutdowns and annual maintenance activities. * Conduct equipment inspections and condition monitoring to identify potential failures. * Complete precision alignment, lubrication and mechanical fitting activities. * Support commissioning, testing and reinstatement of plant following maintenance works.
