We're seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (electrical or mechanical bias) to support our engineering team at our modern siteResponsibilities - Multi-Skilled Maintenance EngineerReactive and planned preventative maintenance on high-speed production and packaging equipmentFault finding and repairs (mechanical, electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics)Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to minimise downtimeEnsuring compliance with health & safety and food hygiene standardsWorking closely with production teams in a fast-paced FMCG environmentExperience/Qualifications - Multi-Skilled Maintenance EngineerProven experience as a Maintenance Engineer in food manufacturing, FMCG or similar (bakery experience advantageous)Multi-skilled with qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, ONC/HNC in Engineering)Strong fault-finding skills on PLC-controlled systems (Siemens/Allen Bradley knowledge a plus)Ability to work independently and as part of a teamFlexible, proactive attitude with a focus on safety and qualityImmediate availability preferredRole will be suitable for: Maintenance Engineers, Shift Engineers, Maintenance Technicians, Reliability EngineersFor more information on this role, please contact Andrew Haddon on 01453 796617 or send a copy of your CV toFor details of other opportunities available within your chosen field please visit our websiteOmega is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
