Join a world-leading organisation supporting critical industries across healthcare, pharma, and life sciences. As a Maintenance Engineer, you’ll play a key role in keeping high-integrity production systems running reliably, ensuring products and processes remain safe, compliant, and efficient.
The Role:
Working on a stable day shift (Mon–Fri, 08:00–17:00), you will:

Carry out planned and reactive maintenance to GMP standards.
*
Respond to equipment breakdowns and record all work accurately.
*
Support PLC, SCADA and automated systems with internal and external partners.
*
Complete PPM schedules, close reactive maintenance tasks promptly, and support on-call where required.
*
Analyse maintenance data, identify improvement opportunities, and contribute to TPM.
*
Manage critical spare parts and assist with equipment installations and upgrades.
*
Coordinate contractors, permits, and engineering project documentation.
*
Support calibration activities, internal audits, and quality investigations.
*
Maintain strict compliance with site safety, security, and regulatory requirements.
*
Take part in CI initiatives including 5S, Gemba, and sustainability programmes.
What You’ll Bring:
*
A technical qualification (HNC/HND) vocational certificate, or equivalent).
*
Strong communication, problem-solving skills, and a collaborative approach.
*
Experience in a regulated, technical, or industrial environment—medical/pharma experience a plus.
*
Broad engineering knowledge across areas such as:
*
Electrical systems (fault-finding, power distribution, lighting, PAT, alarms).
*
Mechanical equipment (pumps, motors, compressors, hydraulics, pneumatics).
*
Control panels, drives, conveyors, and general building services.
*
Advantageous: fabrication/welding, reading electrical/mechanical drawings, and understanding of 5S/Lean.
