We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a busy manufacturing site in Rotherham.
\n
This is a hands-on maintenance role, working across electrical systems, machinery and production equipment. You will be responsible for breakdowns, fault finding and planned preventative maintenance, helping to keep downtime to a minimum.
\n
The role:
\n
• Electrical fault finding and repairs
\n • Planned preventative maintenance
\n • Working with 3-phase motors and variable speed drives
\n • Fault finding on PLC control systems
\n • Diagnosing and repairing plant and machinery
\n • Working closely with production teams
\n • Identifying ways to improve reliability and reduce downtime
\n • Completing maintenance records and paperwork
\n • Working safely and following site procedures
\n
You will need:
\n
• Electrical engineering qualification or relevant experience
\n • At least 3 years' experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
\n • Strong electrical fault-finding skills
\n • Experience with PLC control systems
\n • Experience with motors and drives
\n • Ability to read engineering drawings
\n • Good problem-solving skills
\n • Able to work independently and as part of a team
\n • Reliable and proactive approach
\n
Mechanical maintenance experience would be an advantage.
\n
