Multiskilled Maintenance EngineerRomsey, Hampshire£38,000 £42,500 + Overtime + BonusFull-Time | 44 hours per weekAre you a hands-on Maintenance Engineer with strong mechanical and electrical skills? Were working with a well-established manufacturing business in the Romsey area looking to strengthen their engineering team with a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy production environment, supporting the performance and reliability of equipment.The RoleYoull play a key role in keeping production running efficiently, carrying out both planned maintenance and reactive repairs across a range of specialist machinery.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and respond to breakdownsDiagnose and repair faults across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systemsMaintain and troubleshoot extrusion lines and associated downstream equipmentSupport machine set-up, commissioning and continuous improvement projectsWork closely with production teams to optimise performance and reduce downtimeMaintain accurate maintenance records and fault logsRead and interpret technical drawings, schematics and manualsEnsure all work complies with health & safety and environmental standardsAssist with general site maintenance (lighting, power, basic plumbing)What Were Looking ForRecognised Engineering qualificationis ideal (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC/HND)Proven maintenance experience within manufacturing or automated machinery environmentsStrong fault-finding ability on PLC systems, motors, sensors and drivesGood knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systemsAbility to work in a fast-paced production environmentStrong understanding of safe working practicesDesirable Skills18th Edition (if electrically biased)Experience with PLC fault findingKnowledge of Lean, 5S, TPM or continuous improvementWhats On OfferCompetitive salary with regular overtime25 days holiday + bank holidaysTwice-yearly bonus linked to company performanceStable, well-established manufacturing environmentOpportunity to work on specialist equipment and develop technical skillsIf youre a proactive Maintenance Engineer looking for a varied role where you can make a real impact, wed love to hear from you.Please contact Gemma Lawrence at Meridian on 07876 250 447 or to apply and find out more or emailMeridian Business Support is a recruitment specialist acting on behalf of our client as an Employment Agency for this vacancy.TPBN1_UKTJ
