Maintenance Engineer in Ripon

Job DescriptionA growing food manufacturing company based in the Ripon area is looking for an experienced Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with either bias to join the business.  Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm and salary is £40,000+ depending on experience.\n
\n The successful Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for:\n

• Ensuring operations run smoothly and that downtime is minimised across the site

\n

• Machinery installations/moves/modifications including some fabrication work

\n

• Attending breakdowns and diagnosing both mechanical and electrical faults

\n

• Set up and maintain maintenance schedules relevant to each individual machine/process

\n

• Keeping to planned maintenance schedules in accordance with site accreditation

\n

• Project work and involvement across 2 sites

\n

\n In return, the successful Maintenance Engineer will be part of a business that recognises talent and skill and will always promote from within where possible.  The salary is advertised as £40k - £45k depending on experience.  \n
\n I am really keen to see your CV if you are a time served Maintenance Engineer with a minimum of a level 3 qualification in an engineering field.  You will like to work at speed and be able to think on your feet and be a creative and diligent Maintenance Engineer. This role is working on a Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm shift pattern.
